by Keith Stattenfield
VideoFolder is an application which can grab an image from an attached video camera ( Connectix QuickCam, Apple VideoConference camera, etc ) and create a set of tiled Finder icons in a folder which represent the picture. This gives you an simple way to put a picture into Finder window.
Since a picture is worth 1K of words, you can turn this
into this
Now, the second picture doesn't seem impressive until you realize that it's a Finder window, not an application window.

Source included on the MacHack XI CD. Written by Keith Stattenfield, with some code borrowed from places I don't remember and with CodeWarrior 9 PowerPlant.
